Karen DiNoto is the president of Independent Financial Strategies. Karen began her career in the financial services industry in 1991 while attending college. Karen worked as the executive assistant to a very well respected advisor. During that time, she worked from both the customer service aspect as well as learning "hands on" the intricacy of the planning aspect. Karen has worked with hundreds of families, individuals and small businesses in helping them to address their various needs. Karen graduated summa cum laude, in 2004 and continued to launch her career in financial services. Karen is extremely dedicated to her clients and provides the same conscientious services to them that she would her own family.

Karen and her husband have lived in Southeastern Michigan for 25 years, have a daughter, Rachael, and a son, John as well as two dogs, Lacie and Lexie. Karen enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, spending time with friends and family, the outdoors and is a very active volunteer at her church.
